Simbionte is born from Trebbiano and Malvasia Bianca grapes from Tuscany. The vineyards are located in the two subzones of Meleto and San Piero, which have soils with complementary characteristics. After vinification, it rests in acacia barrels for 15 months. The result is a full-bodied wine, with notes of citrus and white flowers but also of hazelnuts and toasted pine nuts, acacia, and anise. On the palate, it is elegant, with a savory and persistent finish.

The Trebbio vineyard is a CRU in the Meleto sub-zone. The decision to enhance this vineyard stems from the desire to exalt the many expressions of Sangiovese that Castello di Meleto has to offer. Among its rows there are also vines of Ciliegiolo and Colorino, minor varieties, historically used in the Chianti Classico blend, which represent a heritage of biodiversity that Castello di Meleto wanted to preserve. Il Trebbio becomes the third Chianti Classico Gran Selezione of Castello di Meleto.

Vigna Poggiarso is one of the 3 CRU Gran Selezione.

Obtained exclusively from Sangiovese grapes coming just from the Poggiarso vineyard. It is a vibrant, straightforward and bold Gran Selezione where the intensity of the aromas is combined with a crispness of flavors and a true acidity.

An uncompromising wine that gives voice to the vineyard of origin, rich in rocks and perched on a hill 560 meters above sea level.

Vigna Casi is the vocation of a single vineyard in bottle.

A wine made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes coming from the Casi vineyard, which encompasses all its characteristics. It is an elegant, sinuous and charming Gran Selezione where the variety of aromas is matched with balance and persistence of aromas. Every sip renews the amazement and it is one of the best expressions of Meleto.

In the sub-zone of Casi, between two hills, in a crevice where the sun seldom filters in, runs an impetuous torrent, rich in water and undisturbed by drought and man's touch: this is the borro of Parabuio, an impervious place where nature rules.

Camboi is the acronym for Campo dei Buoi, an area of ​​Meleto that was used for the breeding of oxen from the Middle Ages to the early 1960s. In the 1970s Malvasia Nera del Chianti vines were planted in this same area, which today produces a unique wine. Camboi is the latest creation from Castello di Meleto, but it is quickly making a name for itself within the lineup. This wine is challenging to categorize as it is quite rare for the Italian wine scene. The Malvasia family is a boundless one yet it is very difficult to find a single-varietal Malvasia Nera del Chianti as historically it has always been used in blends with other Tuscan native varieties.
